Back in 2023, when I built my first configurator, I didn’t use personas. I focused on features and flow — not people. But after revisiting that project through a UX lens, I realized something important: if I want to rethink how configurators work, I need to start by understanding who they’re really for.
These personas are based on the real user feedback I gathered during that campaign. They represent recurring behaviors and mindsets — not assumptions.
“While not exhaustive, they help me stay grounded as I explore what a more useful, user-centered generation of configurators might look like.”
“Now that these personas are defined, they’ll guide the next design decisions — from interface priorities to copy tone. By staying close to their goals and frustrations, I can ensure the configurator evolves around real user needs, not internal assumptions.”
